DuPont Performance Elastomers offers a wide variety of products ranging from thermoset rubber polymers used by the general rubber industry to high-performance fluoroelastomers used by the chemical processing and automotive industries.

Our Objective:
Meeting customer needs with the broadest possible range of performance solutions.
As the line between rubber and plastics continues to blur, DuPont Performance Elastomers is poised to take advantage of more than 60 years of innovation and experience in synthetic elastomers. Our expanded portfolio of general-purpose and specialty elastomers covers the performance spectrum.

Acsium® alkylated chlorosulfonated polyethylene offers low cost and high performance for the automotive timing belt market, demonstrating outstanding flexibility, abrasion and ozone resistance over a broad temperature range.

Vamac® ethylene acrylic elastomer (AEM) products are a comprehensive family of heat and fluid resistant elastomers for flexible applications ranging from hoses, dampers and boots to seals and gaskets.

Hypalon® chlorosulfonated polyethylene shows its strength when exposed to high temperatures and oxidizing chemicals; it has excellent resistance to ozone and weathering. This accounts for its success in roofing, belting, wire and cable, hose and adhesive applications.

Viton® fluoroelastomer is the most specified fluoroelastomer. Widely used in fuel system seals and hoses, O-rings, shaft seals, and gaskets, Viton® offers excellent resistance to heat, fuels and chemicals. It has worldwide ISO 9000 and ISO/TS 16949 registration.

Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer parts are made by DuPont Performance Elastomers, and offer the utmost in heat and chemical resistance. Kalrez® parts are ideal for demanding applications in chemical processing, semiconductor, and aerospace, they are available in standard or custom shapes.

Viton® FreeFlow™ process additives are uniquely designed to eliminate melt fracture, reduce die build up, and improve overall processing for polyolefin users and producers.

Neoprene polychloroprene was the world's first synthetic elastomer, with oil resistance that still makes it a top performer today in a myriad of applications including automotive, adhesives, and construction.
