These two quick and reliable online guides to best seal selection are provided free as a service from DPE. They will help you predict the chemical and thermal resistance of elastomeric seals in hostile chemical process environments. Both have been updated recently.
The Kalrez® Application Guide (KAG) will guide you to the best perfluoroelastomer seal by rating the resistance of Kalrez® compounds to virtually any combination of temperature and chemical media, and gives guidance on seal design. KAG can be downloaded from www.dupontelastomers.com/kag/
For the Chemical Resistance Guide (CRG), go to www.dupontelastomers.com/crg and click on the Chemical Resistance Guide. It rates the performance of 20 elastomers, including Kalrez®, in over 1,000 chemicals at room temperature.
