During third quarter 2006, over 80 customers in 17 countries worldwide were interviewed about their opinion and attitudes to every aspect of buying and using Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer parts. This was the second global customer satisfaction survey conducted amongst purchasers and users of Kalrez® parts, undertaken by an independent research company.
The objective of the survey was to monitor customer satisfaction in order to enhance the Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer parts offering, including product range, customer services, development and quality; sales and technical support; delivery; sealing solutions and customised design.
European customers expressed very high overall satisfaction with DPE, the Kalrez® product offering and related services. Respondents overwhelmingly perceived DPE/Kalrez® to be a 'stable' closely followed by an 'improving' company/product. Interviewees put DPE/Kalrez® ahead in satisfaction and likelihood of FFKM repurchase compared with competitor companies.
Among the top 10 attributes most valued by customers, European customers highlighted 'quality of parts', 'delivery reliability' and 'technical representation'. The survey findings indicated that customers recognized DPE's leadership versus competition in all three attributes.
