  Technical paper: Improved flex properties for peroxide cured AEM compounds
In a technical paper given at the 176th ACS Rubber Show, DPE scientist Ed McBride demonstrated dynamic improvements in peroxide cured Vamac® AEM compounds for automotive hoses, yielding a step change in performance by eliminating the post cure step, less scorch during the extrusion step, and the option to use lower cost polyester fibers for reinforcement.  Read abstract here

New "Electrical/Electronics Friendly (EF)" grades of DuPontTM Zytel® HTN PPA resins offer sharply lower potential for corrosion of delicate metal parts in hot, moist automotive applications including encapsulated sensors and high-voltage cable conectors, where improved retention of electrical properties is required.
